SAMBA: District Development Commissioner Samba R.K Varma today held a public grievances camp in Samba town to take stock of developmental activities besides assessing people’s problems.
The people in large number participated in the camp and projected their demands pertaining to operationalization of new bus stand, construction of town hall, construction of link between new bus stand and Ghasmandi chowk, opening of more ration depots, improvement of water supply to the town, conservation of Samba Fort, early construction of Filtration Plant sanctioned under UIDSSMT, removal of encroachment from pedestrian path in the bazar.
The DDC assured that all efforts will be made to redress their grievances in a time bound manner.
The meeting among others was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba, Bikram Jamwal, Chief Medical Officer, Executive Engineer PWD & PDD, Assistant Director Food and Supply, Officers of PHE Department, Executive Officer, Municipal Committee. |
