VC takes serious note of illegal constructions
Appeals public not to violate building bylaws

JAMMU : After receiving complaints from the residents of Trikuta Nagar, Housing Colony, Vice Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, Satesh Nehru, today visited Trikuta Nagar Housing colony and enquired about the land use violations being made by some allottees who have converted their residences into Hotels and other commercial purposes. Team of senior officers comprising Chief Town Planner, Director Land Management, Tehsildar and Chief Khilafwarzi Officer accompanied the VC. The VC has taken a serious note on these illegal constructions and has directed the DLM/CTP to depute surveyor along with Khilafwarzi officer to check these violations and submit their report within next 12 days so that legal action can be taken against these violators.
The VC has appealed the public not to construct their buildings in violation of the building bylaws otherwise stern action including cancellation of allotment or lease deed shall be taken against them.
