SRINAGAR, May 28 : Minister for Agriculture, Mr Ghulam Hassan Mir today said that proper maintenance and sanitation of hospitals is pivotal for providing better patient care to the people.
The Minister said this at a high level meeting convened to review the progress of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) constituted for management of PHCs, CHCs of the respective hospitals of the area. The meeting discussed in detail the issues put forth in a resolution pertaining to the construction works, purchase of new medicare equipment and face lifting of hospitals of different Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centers of the Tangmarg constituency. The meeting gave its nod to maximum number of issues put forth in resolutions of different RKS of respective hospitals while as the meeting also decided that the issues in competence of Director Health Services and Administrative Department should be taken with them at the earliest.
The Minister directed the concerned to ensure the maintenance and sanitation of the hospitals of their respective areas so that the patients do not face any inconvenience and asked them to utilize funds judiciously. Chief Medical Officer, Baramulla, as Vice Chairman of RKS, Block Medical Officer Tangmarg , as Member Secretary RKS, Zonal Education Officer, Tangmarg, CDPO Tangmarg, BDO Tangmarg, AEE PDD Tangmarg, Exen PHE Tangmarg, Exen R&B Tangmarg, AEE Mechanical, Exen GDA, Tangmarg , Medical officers of respective Hospitals, eminent citizens, NGOs as members of RKS were present in the meeting. |
