KATHUA, June 5: As many as 21 callers registered their complaints with the DDC Kathua, Jitendra K. Singh today during the weekly sitting of the district administration to attend to the grievances of the public telephonically. Grievances ranged from the timely disposal of files, state subjects, check on the use of pressure horns, provision of power in remote areas etc... Callers also appreciated the efforts of the district administration of relieving the ever busy Mukherjee chowk from the menace of the unauthorized parking and demanded similar efforts for other such places in the district. They also appreciated the involvement of the youth in one day ‘Graffiti’ competition organized by the district administration. The DDC issued on the spot instructions to the district officers present there to address grievances registered by the callers within a week’s time and also advised the callers that they may call back again in ‘Prayas’ if their complaints are not redressed satisfactorily. ADDC Kathua Ajay Jamwal, ADC Kathua Rohit Sharma, ACR Kathua S P Rakwal, SDM Basholi Pran Singh, SDM Billawar Dr. Vikas Gupta were also present on the occasion. |
