SRINAGAR, June 9 : Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), J&K State Branch Srinagar today distributed relief material among 15 families whose houses devastated into fire incident at Karpora, Cheshmashahi, Kralsangri Srinagar. The relief material that was distributed included 3 blankets per family along with kitchen sets, ladies and gents suits, torches, bed sheets, towels, mats, soaps and slippers. Prior to the distribution of relief material, each family was provided Rs.5, 000out of Red Cross fund through the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar. The distribution of relief material was carried out under the supervision of Honourary General Secretary IRCS Mrs. Roma Wani. The victims were emotionally touched by the immediate response of Red Cross.
