Jammu, June 15 : The Janta Dal (Secular) has extended its support to ongoing strike of IV class Employees of Jammu University. According to press release, a meeting of office bearers was held here today under the leadership of S. Kulbir Singh, working state President. Addressing the meeting Singh expressed his concern over the strike of IVth class employees of Jammu University and asked the JU authorities to negotiate with employees.
He also asked the state government not to shifts General Bus stand, as the existing one is approachable to GMC, Civil Secretariat and other offices important offices at winder capital. The meeting also expressed serious concern over frequent and prolong cuts of the electricity in Jammu Region in this scorching heat and sky high prices of essential commodities. Ranjay Bhargotra, Ram Rattan Sharama, Haji Abdul Rehman, HC Dogra, Bhagwati Snaran Sharma, Amrik Singh Jamwal and other attended the meeting. |
