KATRA: Nodal Office Katra, R K Anand, convened an officers meeting to take stock of grievances being faced by the pilgrims and locals at Katra and its adjoining areas besides reviewing functioning of various departments here today.
Executive Officer Municipal Committee Katra, Ravi Sharma, Xen PWD, Joginder Pal, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, Dr Sanjeev Kumar, Tehsildar Shri Mata Devi Shrine Board, Gyan Chand, SHO Katra , Sanjeev Gupta, Range Officer, Munish Gupta, Naib Tehsildar Katra, Sher Singh, officers from various departments and engineers attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Nodal Officer asked the officers to ensure completion of all the developmental works within fixed time. He also directed Executive Officer MC Katra to further intensify anti-encroachment
drive in the town.
The Executive Officer MC apprised in the meeting that all water coolers installed by the committee in the town are functioning properly. He also urged upon the Assistant Executive Engineer, PHE to make arrangements for additional drinking water supply through tanker at counter No-2 keeping in view heavy rush of pilgrims. He also gave a resume of other civic amenities which are in progress in the town.
The AEE PHE informed that the additional drinking water requirement of Katra town will be met after the completion Dhansar Water Supply Scheme.
The Range Officer informed that 30000 plants of different types of trees have been planted upto Anji nallah from Domail and Bamyal to provide green covered in the area. |
