KATHUA: As many as 21 callers registered their grievances here today during the weekly ‘PARYAS’ sitting, an initiative by the district administration to listen to the grievances of the public telephonically.
The District Development Commissioner Kathua, Jitendra K. Singh , in presence heads of various line departments received the calls during hour long session and issued on spot instructions to the concerned departments to attend to the grievances and problems registered by the callers.
The problems projected by the callers from different parts of the district were mostly related to the provisions of basic amenities.
Meanwhile, the DDC informed that from next week onward, the sub division heads of Basohli, Billawar and Bani would be available in the ‘PRAYAS’ through tele conferencing. |
