SRINAGAR: Chairman Legislative Council, Mr. Amrit Malhotra today nominated members to serve on the following Department Related Standing Committees for the year 2013-14. Department Related Standing Committee-I will have Mr. Bashir Ahmad Magray as its Chairman while Mr. Javed Ahmad Rana, Mr. Narboo Gialchan, Mr. Yashpal Sharma, Mr. G. Q. Pardesi and Agha Syed Ahmad Rizvi and as its members to serve the Departments of Industries & Commerce, R&B, Power Development Department, Hospitality & Protocol, Hajj & Auqaf and Ladakh Affairs.
Department Related Standing Committee-III will have Mr. Davinder Singh Rana as its Chairman while Mr. Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy, Mr. Subash Chander Gupta, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, Syed Asgar Ali, Master Noor Hussain and Mr. Sham Lal as its members to serve the Departments of Forest, PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Rural Development Department, Housing & Urban Development, Information Deptt and Estates. Department Related Standing Committee-IV will have Mr. Naresh Kumar Gupta as its Chairman while Mr. Ajatshatru Singh, Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Dr. B. A. Veeri, Mr. Abdul Majid Bhat and Smt. Rani Gargi Blowria as its members to serve the Departments of Home, Social Welfare, Education, Agriculture production, Horticulture and Cooperatives. |
