Pok refugees criticize govt for not fulfilling demands

JAMMU, June 22 : Criticizing state government for not fulfilling their demands to redress their long pending demands, Pok DP's Refugee Front 1947, 65, 71 today held protest demonstration at District Development Office Jammu. A large number of leaders led by its president Yudhvir Singh Chib assembled at DC office and raised slogans in support of their demands. Addressing the rally outside the DC office Yudhvi Singh Chib said that the state government is being run by vested interests of valley based political parties who are not in favor of giving any relief to displaced refugees of Jammu province who have left their moveable and immoveable properties.
Castigating the bureaucratic inefficiency of the state officers, Chib demanded implementation of recommendations of Wadhwa Committee in total at the earliest by state government. Later Chib submitted a memorandum of their demands to DC Jammu to be forwarded to the state Chief Minister requesting him to for expeditious measures. Those who were present on the occasion included Jai Pal Sharma, Kulbir Singh, Sundheer Singh, Mohan Singh and Puran Singh.
