| Lok Adalats held at Kulgam, Baramulla | | | KULGAM: A Lok Adalat was organized by the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, who is also Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kulgam at Court Complex Kulgam here today. As many as 40 cases of various nature were taken up, out of which 21 cases including criminal, matrimonial and MACT were settled amicably during the Lok Adalat. An amount of Rs. 4,80,000 have been awarded as compensation.
The Lok Adalat was also attended by Judges, Divisional Manager National Insurance Company, Members and litigants.
Meanwhile, a Lok Adalat was held under the chairmanship of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Baramulla, Mr. Rashid Ali Dar.
As many as 47 cases of various nature were taken up, out of which various cases were settled amicably during the Lok Adalat.
