DODA: The District Task Force Committee for Self Employment under chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Doda, Mubarak Singh, conducted the interviews of eligible candidates for assistance under JKSES.
A total of 221 candidates had been shortlisted for loan assistance under JKSES with District Employment and Counseling Centre Doda, of which, 125 candidates were found eligible and were accordingly cleared for loan assistance under JKSES from various banks and subsidy from the Employment Department.
The other committee members viz, Deputy Director Employment Doda, (Member Secretary), General Manager DIC, (Member), District Social Welfare Officer (Member), Lead Bank Officer (Member) and Branch Manager J&K Bank, (Member) participated in the process of clearing these cases.
These candidates cleared would be able to establish their self employment units in service sector, manufacturing, poultry units, public transport etc.
The DDC directed the representatives of various banks to ensure that the candidates should be provided loan assistance at the earliest, so as to facilitate the establishment of their units, which would not only provide self employment to these candidates, but also generate employment for others. He also stressed that wide publicity be given by all departments like DIC, Agriculture, Horticulture etc to disseminate information related to self employment so as to extend benefits to all unemployed youth and conduct the meetings for clearing these cases on regular basis. |
