KATHUA: Minister of State for Fisheries, Cooperatives, Finance and Planning, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today inaugurated Community Kitchen, Langar, established for Amaranth Yatris at Chhan- Rorian, Kathua.
SSP Kathua, Mohan Lal, ADC, Rahul Sharma, Ex MLA Prem Lal besides district officers and large number of pilgrims and locals were present on the occasion.
Pertinent to mention here that Baba Barfani Seva Mandal, Moga of Punjab, which has been serving community kitchen food to the devotees for the past 13 consecutive years at Chhan Rorian is the biggest free Community Kitchen for Amaranth Yatris in the district.Dr Manohar Lal Sharma,
while speaking on the occasion, hailed the Seva Mandal for organizing the langar. He directed the district administration to provide complete cooperation to the langar mandals.
Dr Sharma also took stock of facilities being provided by the district administration to the pilgrims. He visited the Medical Aid Centre and other services being extended to the yatires.
