GUREZ : To ensure quality food items and vegetables available in the remote Tehsil of Gurez, Tehsildar alongwith Food Safety Officer, Gurez inspected the food outlets.
About 60 Kgs of rotten sprouted and fungus contaminated vegetables besides spices mixed pickles were destroyed on spot. During the inspection tobacco products including Nevla, Gutka worth Rs. 5,000/- were destroyed.
Meanwhile, 12 legal food samples were lifted from Bagtore, Tarabal, Komjaiwan for laboratory analysis. |
