Academy condoles Reshi’s son’s demise

SRINAGAR: The staff of the J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages have condoled the sudden demise of the youngest son of noted Kashmiri short story writer, Mohi ud din Reshi, who died due to drowning at Udaipur, Rajasthan last evening.
Navid Atiq had joined Hotel Oberoi , Udaipur only last month after completing his degree in Hotel Management from Indian Institute of Hotel Management, Srinagar. He drowned in a lake while on picnic with his colleagues on Wednesday.
A condolence meeting was held at the Academy office here during which the participants expressed deep shock and grief over the tragedy befalling Mr. Reshi and conveyed their heartfelt condolences to him and the bereaved family.
The meeting was attended, among others, by Secretary Academy, Khalid Bashir Ahmad, Additional Secretary, Kashmir, Dr. A. S. Aman, Chief Editor Urdu, M. A. Tak and officers and officials of the Kashmiri Section.
