SRINAGAR: Describing Nursing a noble profession, the Minister for Forests, Ecology and Environment, Mian Altaf Ahmad has asked the nurses to work with dedication and render their services wholeheartedly in mitigating the sufferings of the needy approaching them for medical aid. The Minister was addressing at a concluding day of 3-Day Seminar and Ist Annual Day function of Madr-e-Meharban College of Nursing SKIMS, Srinagar held at SKIMS auditorium today. The theme of the seminar was “Application of Nursing Theories in Education Research and Practice” aimed to update and supplement the knowledge of Nursing Students towards theoretical background of nursing and its application in field. Director SKIMS, Dr. Showkat Ahmad Zargar, Dean of Medical Faculty Prof. Khurshid Iqbal, Principal of the College, Munira Bashir, besides other senior doctors of the hospital were present on the occasion. Dr. Showkat Ahmad Zargar, Prof Khurshid Iqbal also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the role of nurses and the medicare facilities being extended to the people coming to the institute. Principal, Muneera Regu delivered welcome address while Perkash Kour presented vote of thanks College Souvenir was also released on the occasion. |
