SRINAGAR: Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Director, National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi, called on Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here this evening. During their meeting, Mr. Bhardwaj briefed the Governor about the initiatives being taken by the National Institute of Open Schooling for the promotion and strengthening of open schooling system across the country with a view to popularizing this mode of learning. He also briefed the Governor about implementation of the various components of this system of education in the State and the measures underway to further strengthen these.
The Governor stressed the need for all the required measures being taken so that the maximum number of children from J&K State could benefit from this scheme. |
