20 callers registered demands during ‘PRAYAS’ session

KATHUA: The district administration today took 20 calls of the public in one hour session of the weekly initiative ‘PRAYAS’; launched to redress the grievances of the public telephonically.
Callers from different parts of the district projected their problems, which were mostly related to the provisions of basic amenities.
DDC issued on the spot instructions to the district officers present there to address grievances within a week’s time and also advised the callers that they may call back again in ‘Prayas’ if their complaints are not redressed satisfactorily. Responding to the complaint of unscheduled power cuts during the night hours, the DC assured the callers that the needful would be done to redress their grievances with in time.
