BFDC hold a press conference

Jammu: Bahu Fort Development Committee (BFDC) has called a Press Conference at Channi Himmat, Jammu and reiterating its stand on establishment of Shrine Board for Mata Maha Kali Temple (Bawe Wali Mata). The Press Conference Was Called up by Ishant Gupta – Spokesman , BFDC, he was accompanied by Sourabh Sethi – Vice President BFDC, Vicky Sharma - Vice President BFDC & Vivek Sharma – Secretary, BFDC
While interacting with media, Ishant Gupta – Spokesman BFDC said that the Mata Maha Kali Temple Bahu Fort is lacked by many facilities like Sarai, Passenger Shed, Parking facilities, Road Widening etc. and also the offerings of the devotees will be going in wrong hands. He said that BFDC is demanding this since 1999 but still after 14 years, the Government shows Deaf ears and blind eyes.
Gupta added that the biggest religious place of Jammu has been ignored by the government and it has resulted in the poor facilities for pilgrims visiting the Shrine in thousands daily. He said that it is a demand of all the people of Jammu region not only a demand of the residents of Bahu Fort. He added that it is a long pending demand of BFDC and now other Social & Political Parties are raising their voices for constituting Shrine Board but still the Government has no response.
Sourabh Sethi – Vice President BFDC further said that Government is making claims of taking steps for the promotion of religious pilgrimage tourism in the State, but ignoring the demand of constitution of Mata Maha Kali Shrine Board as a complete pilgrimage tourist site. He demanded that the Shrine Board Should be constituted without any deay.
Vivek Sharma – Secretary BFDC appealed to His Excellency Governor of J&K, N.N Vohra to look into this matter and constitute Shrine Board for Mata Maha Kali Bahu Fort also, so that the development works could take place and Bawe Wali Mata Mandir also becomes an attractive tourist place.
