Jammu, Aug 28: State General Sectary National Panthers Students Union (NPPSU) Syed Zeshan on Wednesday alleged large scale of bungling in the Pahari Advisory Board.
Addressing a press conference, Syed Zeshan highlighted the problems being faced by the pahari students and exposed the misdeeds of the authorities of Pahari Board alleging that crores of rupees of Pahari Board has been misappropriated and swindled by the Board authorities.
He said that some sycophants of Warden of Pahari Hostel Jammu attacked him when he was about to leave the hostel, he was manhandled and he would have been killed if he would have not immediately ran away from the Hostel Premises.
He said that long pending demand of Schedule Tribe Status is yet pending, scholarship for the current session has not been released in the favour of Pahari Students, Yet the Boys Pahari PG Hostel Building which is being constructed at Bantalab is Under Construction from last 4 Years, the Wardens of Pahari Hostels all over the State are not being transferred from last various years which has lead to the harassment of the students residing in the hostels by concerned Wardens.
He demanded immediate inquiry of students residing in the Pahari Hostels all over the State, immediate release of scholarship to the students, expulsion of students overstaying in the hostel and to frame a transparent transfer policy for the employees, to create permanent posts for hostel employees at the earliest. |
