Jammu, Aug 28: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) organized a quiz competition on Vedic Dharam (Hinduism) on the occasion of Janamashtami at Mahavir Mandir Purani Mandi, Jammu today.
The quiz was organized specially for the young children to imbibe in them the knowledge of Vedic Dharam and its philosophy.
About 30 children in the age group of 8 to 15 years took part in the quiz competition. Secretary SRS, Bal Krishan Arora asked some religion related questions from each child. The children, who answered the questions fairly and qualified in the quiz, were awarded and given the lovely idols of Bal Gopal.
State President, SRS Rajiv Mahajan said that it will organize such like quiz programmes for young children on religious occasions in future also to infuse in them the knowledge of Vedic Dharam. |
