SRINAGAR, Aug 28: Kanwal Tigers today made it an absolute ten wickets win against Saifco Lions in the Jammu and Kashmir Corporate Premier (T20) League (JKCPL) underway at Kashmir University ground, here.
Batting first, after winning the toss, Saifco Lions bowled out for 67 runs in 17 overs. In reply, Kanwal Tigers chased the total making 70 runs without loss that too sparing 11.5 overs of their innings.
Punit Bisht remained top scorer with 14-ball 22 runs while Haseeb contributed 10 runs to the total. From Kanwal Tigers, Amir Sofi and Abid Mushtaq took three wickets each. Mehjoor Sofi and Irfan as also Akib Mir shared apiece each.
Later, Kanwal Tigers attained the goal making 70 runs in just 8.1 overs with all wickets intact. Ishtiaq made it a one-sided contest with his unbeaten innings of 54 runs while Hanan was batting at the other end with eight wickets.
For his three wickets haul, Abid Mushtaq was declared man of the match while prize for maximum sixes went to Ishtiyaq. |
