Jammu, Aug 28: Violating all norms, in-charge Chief Education Officer’s (CEO) Rajouri office has allegedly modified more than 200 adjustment orders of teachers, from his residence without consulting staff members of office, in lieu of some pecuniary benefits. This was alleged by Sarpanch Mohammad Iqbal of Rajouri while addressing media persons. He further said that if some government agency should probe and investigate the adjustment list then a big scam could be easily exposed. "Resentment is brewing among teaching community and social organizations against such irregularities/mismanagement political interference, but concerned authorities have adopted criminal silence over all the scams", he further said. Residents of Tradoo Kalakote headed by Sarpanch Molvi Alam Din lodged their protest before chief minister Omar Abdullah, during his visit to area. He further said that it was very unfortunate that Post of CEO, Rajouri has been laying vacant since December 2012, and in-charge CEO, backed by local coalition Congress leaders have cross all the previous records of irregularities and Jungle Raj in education department. NGO, for social Justice Chairman SA Mughal and spokesman Shieraz Inqlabi, and other members expressed great resentment against gross violation of transfer norms. |
