Jammu, Nov 20: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has appealed Kashmiri Pandit community to protect culture, rituals and festivals of community. According to press release, president of KPC Kundan Kashmiri said, "This has also become great concern to other well-wishers of the community. I am of the firm opinion that all allied problems of the community can be tackled, gradually, according to situation, but change in cultural factor once get eroded is very difficult to bring back to its place, as it has direct bearing on the living condition of the community." He said, "Community has its own customs, traditions and festivals and each carrying its deep meaning and having religious and social importance. Also give us sense of being unique community in the world, "the Kashmiri Pandit Community." "Our great festivals like Maha Shivratri, Nvreh, Pann and others provide our families spiritual strength and bring families together to pray, eat, enjoy share pain, sorrow and happiness of each other. These holy festivals have a common goal to create a feeling of one-ness, unity, respect for each other and elders. It invokes true happiness, solace and tranquility for the whole family", he added. |
