JAMMU, Nov 20: Despite their first half domination and two goals lead, Mussa Club today lost to Young Star 2-4 in the ongoing Senior Division Football League of DFA Jammu, organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College ground, here.
Earlier, in the first half, Mussa Club took comprehensive two goals lead. Both the goals came through Rakesh in the 18th and 24th minute. However, Young Star fought back after the breather and leveled the score 2-2 with Sanjay (34th) and Sourav (42nd) netting the ball.
In the meantime, Mussa Club committed blunder when, to the advantage of Young Star, Dushyant netted a self-goal. The goal turned out to be a moral booster for Young Star, who then turned offensive and further improved the lead scoring fourth goal through Tanbir Singh in the 68th minute.
Today's match was conducted by the technical penal including Moon Stephen, Vijay Kumar, Koushal Sharma and Harmanjeet Singh.
