| CJM directs SSP CB to enquire complaint against Geelani | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 20 (JNF): Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu SR Gandhi today directed SSP Crime Branch Jammu to conduct preliminary enquiry over complaint filed against Syed Ali Shah Geelani, only to ascertain whether cognizable offence is disclosed or not. Upon this if cognizable offence found committed, than SSP Crime Branch Jammu shall registered the FIR and investigate the matter.The complaint is filed by Ravinder Kumar Raina President Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha against Syed Ali Shah Geelani Ex-MLA and separatist leader of Kashmir, after hearing senior advocate Sunil Sethi assisted by Adv Parimoksh Seth appearing for the complainant. According to the complaint Syed Ali Shah Geelani who is a separatist leader from Kashmir and has been spitting venom on the so called Kashmir issue for the last couple of decades and is a major contributor to the instigation of local Kashmiri youths by misguiding them to take up guns against the security forces and innocent people and which has led to massacre and killing of thousands of people including security force personnel.In the complaint it has also been submitted that Syed Ali Shah Geelani is responsible for creating a situation of terror because of his extreme views and hatred which created the circumstances of mass migration of members of one community from Kashmir. Syed Ali Shah Geelani had a meeting with Advisor to Prime Minster of Pakistan namely Sartaj Aziz at New Delhi on 11th of November, 2013. The reason and agenda behind this meeting can be easily presumed looking to the past. That after the meeting, the Syed Ali Shah Geelani made statements next day which are against the national interest and by saying that guns can be permanent solution for the State of J&K. The statement of Syed Ali Shah Geelani is reported in the press. A look to the statement so made by the Syed Ali Shah Geelani clearly reveals that he has attempted to bring hatred and contempt and excite dis-satisfaction towards the Government established by law. |
