| Traders Association Kishtwar calls on Div Com Jammu | | |
Kishtwar, Jan 2: A deputation of Traders Association Kishtwar today called upon Divisional Commissioner Jammu who was on his visit to Kishtwar district. The deputation led by Bharat Bhushan Gupta, President Traders Association Kishtwar along with Ravi Gupta, Surinder Gupta, Kishori Lal Shan, Rajesh Sharma and Kuldeep Gupta welcome the worthy Divisional Commissioner on his arrival in Kishtwar District.
During the course of the meeting, President of the association Bharat Bhushan Gupta detailed the Divisional Commissioner about the hassles being faced by the shopkeeper community especially with reference to the victims of Kishtwar riots on 9th of August, 2013. He informed him that the affected shopkeepers of the Kishtwar riots are in a very miserable condition as they have lost basic source of income. He added that the conditions of the victims have worsened as the Administration has sought so many formalities for the settlement of the claims.
The leaders of the association demanded the early disposal of the claims without seeking any formalities from them. They also demanded the settlement of claims as per the notification issued on the official website of Kishtwar District and without any bargaining on the same. The worthy Divisional Commissioner assured the members of the deputation that the issue will be resolved at the earliest. He also assured them that he will revisit Kishtwar district to find a solution of the issue at an earliest. |
