| POK DPs criticize Govt of betrayal | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 2: POK Displaced Persons (DP's) expressed resentment over lackadaisical attitude of state and centre governments for not taking concrete measures to resolve their problem.
The President of POK DP's Front Capt Yudhvir Singh Chib said due to lackadaisical attitude of both governments, DPs are facing acute problems of Housing, Economic and Education as they neither being provided Economic Award nor been given Jobs to earn their livelihood.
"It has been more than 65 years, DPs are still awaiting for their legitimate rights but Govt has been making false promises to lure them to vote for them during the State and Parliament Elections. As the Parliament and State Elections are approaching at hand, Govt will not be able to deceive this take to DP's. As they have made up their mind that if the Govt. declares promised award to DP's they will think to whom they will vote en mass," he rued. |
