Jammu, Jan 2 : Indu Pawar MLA President Mahila Congress J&K held a Congress Party workers meeting at Shallayan and Thara Kilwal in Billawar District. Pawar in her address highlighted the work done by Congress in the country in post Independence may it the related to development of country through its various five years plans, education for all, employment guarantee, nationalization of banks for better socio economic development attaining self sufficiency in food and maintaining communal harmony and equal opportunity to all above caste, creed or religion. Stressing for the unity of workers, she said unity among the workers is major component of strength of party and exhorted workers to strengthen the party at grass root level in villages & country side. Pawar asked the workers to carry forward the policies and programmes of the Government at the grass root level and involve more and more to join congress party which has a history of 127 years. |
