| Jammu: NSS Unit of Dogra College of Education inaugurated its Seven Days Awareness Camp comprising of 80 NSS Volunteers at Govt. High School, Chak Jaralan, Teh. Bishnah, Jammu today as per the guidelines of the University of Jammu.The camp was inaugurated by Kulwant Kour, Principal of the school in the presence of Jatinder Singh Sarpanch of the Village, Shefali Sharma Vice Principal Dogra College of Education, faculty members and students of the high school. The function started with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by the Saraswati Vandana. Rajni Manhas Programme Officer NSS Unit of the College inn her welcome address highlighted activities to be executed by the volunteers during the upcoming days.Earlier, Shefali Sharma, Vice principal of the College in her address briefed gathering about the aims and objectives of the National Service Scheme. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Kr Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Prof B D Damral Director-cum Principal of host college and locals.
