Jammu, Feb 12 : Jat residents of villages of Samba Dayalachak, Hiranagar and Vijaypur today called upon Ch. Manmohan Singh, President, All India Jat Mahasabha, J&K to convey their grief, on being neglected in recent order passed by central govt., in which Jats of the state were ignored. As per press statement, Ch. Manmohan Singh who was already in correspondence with party's leader Jenab Gulam Nabi Azad, Soz and MP's Madan Lal Sharma and Ch. Lal Singh, on this issue, confirmed their full support and narrated the efforts and meeting with authorities by him on his recent Delhi visit concerning Jats issue. Ch Manmohan said that the authorities have assured him their official support and are waiting for any kind of response from J&K state Govt, for which Ch. Manmohan Singh, as soon as schedule of Omar Abdullah, CM of J&K allows along with their Jat mahasabha delegation take up the issue with him. Choudhary suggested a door to door awareness plan to people wherein people will personally divulge the proceedings of govt. and their rights to others and as many as possible. Moreover, people are awaiting govt. response eagerly if disappointed, whole community will confront the govt and this protest will include families of each and every Jat who asks for OBC. Ch.Manmohan Singh and other mahasabha members Ch. Diwan Singh, Ch.Baldev Raj, Ch. Avtar Krishan Capt. Chander Singh, Ch.Rashpaul Singh, Capt. Om Singh, Ch. Girdhai Lal, Ch.Gaar Singh, Ch. Satish, Ch. Sat Pal, Master Subash Singh, Ch. Darshan lal, Ch. Surat Singh, Ch. Parveen Singh, Ch. Sarwan Singh and others, who were present, plan to conduct such meetings with Jats in other villages also. |
