Ranjit College organizes 'Faculty Dev Programme'

Jammu, Feb 12 : Prof J Suresh associated with Ministry of Human Resource, Govt of India and a consultant to UNESCO today interacted with the staff and management of Ranjit College of Education, Rakh Bandhuwala, Kunjwani, Jammu during a progarmme under 'Faculty Dev. Programme' here today in college campus.
Prof J.Suresh in his address deliberated upon the system of Education prevailing in the Country.
He laid stress on mother tongue followed by the regional language, which are the real source of communication. The Speaker viewed culture-based education need to be encouraged. There should be no room for cramming as it takes student away from original thinking and thought-provoking knowledge. In the second interactive session, staff asked some questions regarding the use of mother tongue and available source material. At the onset Manmeet Singh introduced the guest speaker with audience.
