| Shabir Khan gets interim bail in molestation case | | | Et Report Jammu, Feb 12 : The High Court today granted interim bail to former MOS Health, Shabir Khan wanted in a case of molestation. The bail was granted by Justice Janak Raj Kotwal of J&K High Court Srinagar Wing today. The bail shall expire on granted pre-arrest interim bail upto February 18, 2014. Justice Janak Raj Kotwal after hearing Sr. Adv BS Salathia with Advocates CM Sharma, Baldev Singh and Nitin Gupta for the Shabir Ahmed Khan whereas AAG RA Khan for the state and Sr. Adv BA Bashir with Adv Rafiq Ahmed Joo for the complainant, observed that the objections on behalf of state have been filed and the permitted the Senior Advocate B A Bashir appearing on behalf of complainant who wants to participate in the proceedings. While granting interim bail to petitioner, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal observed that petition shall make himself available for investigation/interrogation before the Investigating Officer at the concerned police station by tomorrow evening and if the investigating officer arrest the petitioner, in that case he shall be released on his personal bond along with a surety in the amount of Rs 25000/- each with the condition that the petitioner in that case shall not leave the territorial jurisdiction of District Srinagar With permission of the IUO of the case and shall not in any case leave the territorial jurisdiction of the state of J&K till disposal of the application.
