| Man stabbed by brothers over land feud, one held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 1: in a bizarre incident a middle aged (45) man was stabbed by his two brothers over land dispute in Nanak Nagar area on Saturday, police sources said. A case stand registered and one of the duo has been arrested by the police while manhunt to nab the other is on. "The victim identified as Gurdeep Singh son of Gurmukh Singh of sec. 8 Nanak Nagar was allegedly stabbed his two brothers at Nanak Nagar," said a police official.He added soon after the information was received the police rushed to spot and shifted the victim to Govt Hospital Gandhinagar and after initial treatment the injured was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for advanced treatment."One of the assailant identified as Surinder Singh has been arrested while other namely Harjeet Singh managed o escape from the spot, police said.Police further said as per preliminary investigation it was found that there was old land dispute between the three brothers. A case in this connection has been registered and hunt to nab the absconding Harjeet is on. |
