| Subash inspects development works | | | Hiranagar, Mar 2: MLC, Subash Chander Gupta today inspected the development work of construction of drain executed by the department of town drainage at the cost of Rs 5.80 lacs, in Ward No. 5 Hiranagar.
While inspecting the development work Subash Chander Gupta said that providing better sanitation facilities to the public is the top priority of the government and there is no constraint of funds for developmental activities. Propagating the policies of the Central as well as of the state government, Gupta said that under the coalition government, the people has witness remarkable progress and one can see large scale development activities throughout the country.
Gupta directed the concerned to speed up the pace and progress of the work, so as to complete the project within the stipulated time frame and also ensure quality of the works and to follow the norms as laid down by the department. He added that with the active support of Central Government work to upgrade infrastructure in towns and cities of the State is going on at a fast pace. He gave full credit of the development of the state to Dr Manmohan Singh Prime minister of India, Sonia Gandhi Chairperson of United progressive alliance and to Ghulam Nabi Azad Union Health Minister and Ex Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir. |
