Jammu, Mar 2: A deputation of All J&K Diploma Engineers Association Jammu called upon Abdul Majid Wani, the Minister for PWD(R&B) and Mechanical Engineering, at his residence.Headed by JKDEEA, president Er Upinder Singh, the deputation thanked the Minister for promotions in the department, Under which 52 numbers of Diploma Engineers from the post of JE to AE in R&B(Civil), 49 number of Diploma Engineers from the post of JE to AE in Mechanical Department and 14 numbers of Assistant Engineer to the post of Assistant Executive Engineers in Mechanical wing of Diploma cadre.
The Association lauded the efforts of Minister and Madam Tanvir Jehan, worthy commissioner PWD(R&B) and Mech. Engineering J&K Government in this regard. The Minister gave the deputation a patient hearing and assured the DEA that the other long pending demands pertaining to Diploma Engineers cadre shall be addressed at the earliest.
