| 4 bovine animals rescued, 1 arrested | | | Early TImes Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 2: Police foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling in which 4 bovine animals were rescued and under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rehmbal.
Based on reliable information, a Police party of Police Post Tikri laid a surprise naka at NHW near Mand and intercepted one load carrier Balero Vehicle without No. During thorough search of vehicle 4 bovine animals found tightly packed in the said vehicle which were carry these 04 bovine animals towards Kashmir Valley. Accused smuggler namely Mohd Ashraf son of Jumma of Gole Mela Rathian Tehsil and District Udhampur arrested on spot vehicle seized and bovine animals rescued.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 33/14 U/S 188/RPC 3 PCA Act stands registered at Police Station Rehmbal and further investigation of the case is going on. |
