| GGF constitutes Bhaderwah unit | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Mar 2: Gandhi Global Family constituted its Bhaderwah unit, for which the elections were conducted on Sunday.
The elections held under the supervision of renowned social activist Gulam Nabi Sohail Sadeqi who works as a presiding officer.
After casting votes by all members associated with Gandhi Global family Mukhtiar Ahmed Mir, a social worker Doda-Kishtwar districts, was elected as district President, Bharat Bhushan as vice President, Taj Din Gujjar as vice President, Satish Kumar Sarpanch Bheja, Bhaderwah as vice President, Shakoor Ahmed as General secretary, Wajahat Hussain as Coordinator, Bikram Singh Manhas as administrative secretary, Sanjay Kumar as organising secretary and Mohd Shafi as publicity secretary.
Forty member executive committees were also constituted on the occasion which included Mohd Ashraf Batt Sarpanch, Irshad Ahmed Khan Sarpanch, Sardar Mohd and others as members. Speaking on the occasion newly elected district President Doda Mukhtiar Ahmed Mir said Gandhi Global Family is promoting international understanding and cooperation by strengthening people to people contact belonging to various countries for maintenance of world peace.
It is a matter of great pride that Father of Nation Mahatama Gandhi has emerged as a guiding lamp for rest of the world for peace, Mir said adding that since we are the successor of Father of Nation and his ideology is our heritage, we are duty-bound to study the ideology of Gandhiji to know more and more so that with a missionary approach, we can preach the work the ideology of the great soul.
Mukhtiar Ahmed Mir said that members of Gandhi Global Family, have to play a vital role in propagating the ideology of Gandhiji in whole Chenab valley. He also informed that under the leadership of President Gandhi Global Family, Ghulam Nabi Azad, and state President Jammu and Kashmir SP Verma Gandhi Global Family is extending its branches worldwide and assured all participants that he will leave no stone unturned for the help of the people. |
