JAMMU, Mar 2:A meeting of J&K Government Employees & Workers Federation (GEWF) held under the Chairmanship of its president Kulwant Singh. While addressing the meeting, Kulwant Singh expressed resentment over the anti-employees and anti-workers attitude of the government.
He said the Government is back tracking from the written agreement signed between the JCC leadership and Government representative on September 15, 2011. Singh said that the Government had promised to full fill the demands viz enhancement of retirement age from 58 years to 60 years, removal of pay anomalies of different cadres, the policy for regularization of daily rated workers who have completed 7 years of service after 1994 and budgetary support to the PSU employees. He appealed to all sections of employees, union, associations, federation to remain unite and be ready for further course of action which will be decided in the meeting of JCC. |
