| 1 killed, 2 injured in Chatroo tipper accident | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Mar 18: One was killed while two other persons got injured in an accident on Kishtwar-Chatroo-Srinagar National Highway.
As per the details available with "Early Times", sand loaded tipper bearing registration No. JK02F-9747 on its way from Chatroo to Chingham met with an accident near Deller village on Kishtwar-Chatroo-Srinagar National Highway and fall into 300 feet deep gorge.
After receiving an information about the accident, police party from Police Station Chatroo, local people rush to the spot and shifted the injured person first to Primary Health Center Chatroo from where they were later referred to District Hospital Kishtwar.
At Kishtwar hospital, one person identified as 26 year old Mohammad Iqbal son of Ghulam Qadir succumbed to his injuries while another injured person identified as Driver Khurshid Ahmed (36 yrs) son of Bhodur Naik was shifted to Government Medical College Jammu in critical condition.
Another injured Ghulam Hassan (25 yrs) son of Sana-ul-lah was undergoing treatment at District Hospital Kishtwar, his condition is said to be stable. All the injured on board of ill-fated vehicle are the resident of village Seva Chatroo.
Local MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, several other political and non political person expressed his grief and shock our the loss of life in this tragic accident.
Saroori also demanded release of ex-gratia in favour of the family member of the deceased and free treatment to two injured person.
