| MCMC, SVEEP, paid news awareness programme organizes at Samba | | | SAMBA, Mar 18: District Administration Samba today organized an awareness programme related to the Schematic Voters Education and electoral participation, media certification and monitoring committee and paid news today at Samba in order to aware the masses about the latest guidelines issued by the ECI at Badyal Brahmna which were attended by BLOs of the area, students, women folk, senior citizens and prominent persons of the area under the directions of DEO/ DC Samba R K Verma.
In the camp, students highlighted the importance of the electoral process and also the value of voting in the forthcoming elections. On the occasion, MCMC Member/PO IWMP Vikas Gupta briefed about the SVEEP and the procedures to be adopted for registration of new voters. He also highlighted the latest guidelines to be followed for MCMC, paid news.
District Information Officer Samba cum MCMC member Secretary Vikas Anand also briefed about the importance of SVEEP, MCMC and prizes were also given to the participants by the Information Department Samba. |
