| HC serves returnable notices to Union H/S, Home Secy J&K, DGP J&K, SSP Jammu | | Asaram Ashram case: | | Jammu, Mar 18 (JNF): In a petition filed by Vinod Gupta alias Bholanand who is serving in Babpu Asaram's Ashram at Jammu seeking protection, food and shelter etc and investigation of his case in a fair manner, Justice Tashi Rabstan of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv CS Gupta appearing for the petitioner issued notice to Union Home Secretary, Secretary to Information & Broadcasting, Home Secretary J&K, DGP J&K and SSP Jammu returnable within two weeks. After hearing the both sides, Justice Tashi Rabstan directed respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner. In the petition it was further submitted he was threatened that supporters and enemies of Asaram and seeking protection of his life. In his petition, the petitioner had submitted the expelled Managing Authority persons of Babu Asaram' Asharam and traitors tried to induce the him and brain washed his mind to corroborate with them when he refused to corroborate with them and in view thereof these persons took the petitioner into their custody and threatened the him and in case he did not act as per wishes. They forced him to level false charges against Bapu Asaram. It added one Mohinder Chawal introduced the petitioner to comparator namely P Pawar who introduced the petitioner with one Pandeji alongwith Wasim Akhtar who had contacts with all media channels, came to the petitioner's resident at Mumbai on October 3, 2013 and thereafter one more Dev Anand who was security Guard of Bapuji ( religious seer) now residing in Delhi has been speaking against Babuji, as ked the petitioner to read out the script prepared by Wasim Akhtar. |
