JAMMU/NOWSHERA, Mar 19: Yash Pal Sharma, MLC and PDP candidate from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Parliamentary constituency today said that the present government headed by National Conference has completely failed to address grievances of the people which is why the residents of this State have been looking towards PDP to get their aspirations addressed.
Addressing series of meeting in different areas of Jammu West, Sharma said that previous PDP led regime had set an example of good governance and the people have realized that only this party has the vision and conviction to solve their problems.
He regretted that state has been plunged into unprecedented crises due to wrong policies of the present regime.
He said that PDP led regime had set an example of equitable and balanced development in Jammu and Kashmir. He reminded various developmental projects taken in the state in general and Jammu city in particular during regime of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and exhorted the party workers to ask the people to compare three year performance of PDP with decades long mis-governance of NC. He said a number of beautification projects initiated and implemented during that period and new look was given to Jammu city. He further said that it was all due to efforts of Mufti Sayeed that elections of the civics bodies were held after a gap of more than three decades.
Meanwhile state secretary of PDP, Surinder Choudhary addressed series of public meetings at Makol, Devak, Hathal, Bandari, Katali, Thangote and Saleari Channi areas of Nowshere Assembly segment.
While addressing these meetings, Choudhary asked the people to compare credibility and conviction of PDP candidature with nominees of other political parties. He said that PDP candidate Yash Pal Sharma is symbol of dedication, devotion, communal harmony and brotherhood.
