Over 80 Kgs of adulterated milk destroyed

Kathua, May 5: Continuing its drive against supply of adulterated milk in the consumer market, a team headed by Food Safety Officer Subash Raina near new Bus Stand, Kathua here today destroyed over 80 Kgs of adulterated and poor quality milk during a market inspection. According to official spokesperson, the team headed Food Safety officer Subash Raina is conducting frequent surprise raids to inspect the quality of the milk which is being supplied to the people of Kathua at various places in Parliwand area of Kathua. "The milk vendors were intercepted and get checked their consumable item milk and found 80 Kgs of milk unfit and adulterated which was destroyed on the spot, he said. The team also warned the milk vendors to refrain from adulteration and any one found guilty will be fined as per law.
