Jammu, May 5 : Extending support to the bandh call given by Bar Association Jammu, NSUI Jammu University unit's General Secretary Kamaal Mangotra today said that any brutality on commoners in not bearable and if it happens, authorities have to face similar protests. Speaking on the occasion, Mangotra who was flanked by Ajay Kumar, National Delegate, NSUI said that it is a very unfortunate episode that a senior lawyer was beaten mercilessly by police officers and till date no action has been taken against those police officers in spite of continuous strike by Bar Association Jammu. Advocate Prem Sadhotra, Joint Secretary, Jammu Bar Association along with lawyers arrived and met agitating NSUI activists and thanked them for their support. |
