| Dir JU Kishtwar Campus calls on Sajjad Kichloo | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, May 5: The Director of Kishtwar Campus, University of Jammu Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, today met the Minister of Home Industries and Commerce Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo and apprised him about the ongoing construction work in Kishtwar Campus. He informed the Minister that in a very short span of time administrative block of the Campus has been completed and is likely to be inaugurated in the 1st week of July whereas the girls hostel and the boys hostel is likely to be inaugurated in the month of October. He also briefed the Minister about the recent visit of the Vice Chancellor to Kishtwar Campus and told that Vice Chancellor of Jammu University Prof. M.P. Singh Isher has taken keen interest for Kishtwar Campus. "It was the efforts of the Vice Chancellor that Kishtwar Campus made a tremendous development during the last two years" said Prof. Shohab. He also discussed in detail various other problems which is being faced by the Kishtwar Campus. He demanded that permanent teaching and Non-Teaching posts be created in Kishtwar Campus and Government should provide more financial assistance to the Campus so that it could be run in a befitting manner. Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo after gaving a patience hearing to Director Kishtwar campus lauded his & VC Jammu university efforts for making the campus a model one. He also assured the Director that he would take the matter of permanent positions of Teaching and Non- Teaching staff with the government and assured that more grants would be provided to Kishtwar campus. He also lauded the role of Director for making the Kishtwar campus a hub of literary and Cultural activities. |
