Jammu, May 5: A general meeting of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, State General Secretary of the forum wherein certain burning demands of the community were highlighted and a strategy was chalked out to resolve the same.
In order to give the due representation to the Chenab valley, the following members of the Forum were elevated and assigned to strengthen the organisation including Jamat Ali Agha as Provincial Vice President, Roop Lal as Provincial Secretary, Mir Quasim as Vice President District Doda and Ishiaq Rashid as General Secretary of the District.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Rajinder Gupta, Gopal Singh, Satish Dutta, S Surat Singh among others. |
