| Jandial Baradari bi-annual congregation on May 14 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 5: The newly elected body of All Jandyal Sabha in its first meeting held at the devasthan of Baba Sahej Nath, Gole pulley discussed various measures to develop and beautify the shrine area with objective of improving facilities to the devotees. The Committee also reviewed arrangements being made for the smooth conduct of the bi-annual congregation of the baradari being held on the occasion of Buddha Purnima falling on 14 May. The working committee meeting was chaired by the Chief Patron of the Sabha Jt (retd) K K Gupta. It was decided that the temple complex will be beautify on the occasion of the congregation with special focus on improvement in sanitation, cleanliness of the premises and distribution of carry home-prasad. The toilet near the office will be improved. Additional hands would be engaged for keeping the toilet clean. Cleanliness drive will be launched well before the congregation. To decongest traffic it was decided to allow one way traffic only with entry from Gol Pully and exit from Bhagwati Nagar. It was also decided to request the R&B Deptt to improve the Gole pulley road which has developed many pot holes. A horticulture development scheme will also be formulated for the complex with the help of experts. A 3-member sub-committee was constituted to effect purchases for works approved by the committee to ensure proper utilization of funds.
