| Lt Col among 3 army officials injured in road mishap | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, May 5: Three army officials including one Lt Colonel reportedly were injured when an army jeep and truck had a collision near Birma Pul, Udhampur, police sources said. According to the sources, an Army Jeep bearing regd no: 028083384 collided with a truck bearing regd no JK14A-9216 Near Birma Pul, Udhampur resulting into injuries to three army officials. Receiving the information, the police from concerned local Police Station rushed to the accident spot and shifted injured persons to Command (Army) Hospital Udhampur. The injured have been identified namely as Lt Col N Sagban of ASE, Maj Sutinder Kasina and Maj Manjet Singh of 123 Battalion Territorial Army (TA). Udhampur Police registered the case and started investigation. Yet in another similar road mishap a truck bearing regd no: PB13M68C-8877, on its way from Jammu to Kashmir met with accident when driver of vehicle lost the control over and it rolled down into the deep gorge near Raundomal Udhampur. The injured identified as Surabjeet (37) son of Surjeet Singh of Tanda Gurdas was shifted to DH Udhampur for medicare. Udhampur Police registered the case and started investigation. |
