JAMMU, May 16: KC Public School boys won both under-17 and under-14 boys' table tennis titles in the inter-school table tennis competition, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today. In under-14 category, JK Public defeated Jodhamal Public School 2-1. The Results: Singles: Jai bt Ansh Gupta 11-09, 12-10; Anant bt Shiven 11-02, 11-03. Doubles: Hanumant and Anant bt Ansh and Shiven 11-07, 11-07. Meanwhile, in under-17 category, KC Public defeated JK Public School 3-1. The Results: Singles: Ashank lost to Manandeep 06-11, -5-11, -9-11; Ritvik bt Arnav 11-04, 11-02, 07-11, 08-11, 12-10; Abhay bt Karan 11-05, 11-07, 11-09; Ritvik bt Manandeep 11-05, 11-07, 11-09. BASKETBALL: Meanwhile, semifinals line-up has been drawn in under-14 boys' category with the entry of Army Public School (APS) Domana, Heritage School, Jodhamal Public School, JK Public School and Delhi Public School (DPS) in the last four stages of the competition. The Results: Under-14 Quarterfinals: APS Domana bt KC International; Heritage bt Nagbani; Jodhamal bt MIER; DPS bt St. Peters School.
